This website is operated by NOTERA. By accessing or using the website — including placing an order, creating an account, or subscribing to any NOTERA program — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use this website.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the verified consent of a parent or guardian, to use this website and place orders. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Products & Descriptions

NOTERA sells journals, planners, notepads, writing instruments, gift sets, personalised stationery, subscription products, and corporate gifting collections. We endeavour to make all product descriptions as accurate as possible; however, slight variations may occur due to:

• Manufacturing and natural paper production processes
• Screen display and photography settings
• Personalisation and embossing methods
• Natural material variations inherent in premium paper and leather products

Such variations do not constitute a defect. We recommend reviewing product dimensions and materials in full before ordering.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in [insert currency] and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. Prices may change without prior notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, cancel orders affected by such errors, and refuse transactions resulting from technical or typographical mistakes. Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments and authorised third-party providers.

Order Acceptance

Submission of an order constitutes an offer to purchase. NOTERA reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for reasons including — but not limited to — suspected fraud, payment verification issues, inventory limitations, pricing errors, shipping restrictions, or regulatory requirements. You will be notified promptly if your order cannot be fulfilled.

Personalisation Orders

For any order involving engraving, embossing, foiling, monogramming, or custom text:

• The customer is solely responsible for verifying all submitted text, initials, spellings, and branding files before confirming the order.
• Orders enter production using the exact information provided. NOTERA is not liable for customer-submitted spelling errors, incorrect files, or low-resolution artwork.
• Approved proofs (where applicable) must be confirmed in writing before production begins. Production commences upon confirmation.
• Personalised products cannot be returned or exchanged unless the error is attributable to NOTERA.

Corporate & Bulk Orders

Orders of 50 or more units — and all bespoke corporate gifting programs — are governed by NOTERA's Corporate & Bulk Orders Policy, linked in the footer. In summary:

• A deposit may be required before production commences.
• Artwork files must be submitted in approved formats and resolution.
• Lead times will be quoted individually and confirmed in writing.
• Once production has begun, orders may not be cancelled except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

The Notepad Club — Subscription Terms

By subscribing to The Notepad Club, you authorise NOTERA to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency selected. You may skip, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing date. Renewals already processed and fulfilled cannot be refunded. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to NOTERA's brand name and logo, product names, photography, copy, graphic elements, packaging design, and the 'Objects That Remember' tagline — is the exclusive intellectual property of NOTERA and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and design laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used in any commercial context without prior written permission from NOTERA.

User-Submitted Content

If you submit reviews, photos, or other content to NOTERA's website or social channels, you grant NOTERA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and publish that content in connection with NOTERA's products and marketing. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content submitted.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NOTERA's total liability to you in connection with any order or use of the website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order. NOTERA is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive losses, including loss of profits or data.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

Force Majeure

NOTERA shall not be in breach of these Terms and shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, customs delays, carrier disruptions, cybersecurity incidents, industrial action, pandemics, or supply chain interruptions. We will communicate anticipated delays promptly and work to minimise disruption to your order.
